The Blue Lagoon is a natural pool of crystal-clear, turquoise water located in a narrow stretch between the island of Comino (Kemmuna) and the tiny islet of Cominotto, in Malta. Renowned for its pale sandy bottom and shallow, filtered water that produce an intense lagoon-blue color, it is considered Malta's top attraction and is popular for swimming and snorkeling, accessible by ferry from Malta.
