Introduction
The Sacred Heart Cathedral (Église du Sacré-Cœur) is a former Roman Catholic church in downtown Casablanca, designed by French architect Paul Tournon and completed in the 1930s in a striking neo-Gothic/Art Deco style. It ceased functioning as a church after Morocco's independence and now serves as a cultural center hosting art exhibitions and events, admired for its soaring white façade, twin spires, and stained glass windows.
