Introduction
Le Maïdo Viewpoint is a mountain belvedere at about 2,190 metres altitude in the highlands above Saint-Paul, Réunion Island. It offers a spectacular panoramic view over the Cirque de Mafate (a UNESCO-listed volcanic amphitheatre) and the island's west coast, reached via a long winding road from the Le Guillaume district. It is also a starting point for hiking trails into the Cirque de Mafate.
