Introduction
Isalo National Park is a national park in the Ihorombe Region of southwestern Madagascar, near the town of Ranohira, known for its dramatic sandstone canyon and rock formations, rolling plains, and desert-like scenery. It is a sacred site for the Bara tribe, home to numerous lemur species and other wildlife, and offers popular hiking trails leading to natural swimming pools.
