Introduction
Blue Bay Marine Park is a protected marine reserve in the southeast of Mauritius, near Mahebourg, declared a national park in 1997 and later designated a Ramsar wetland site. It is renowned for its coral garden with hundreds of coral varieties and abundant tropical marine life, making it a top spot for snorkelling and glass-bottom boat tours in calm, clear, shallow waters.
