Introduction
Ginza Lion Beer Hall, located on the ground floor of the Ginza Lion Building in Chuo's Ginza district, is Japan's oldest existing beer hall, having opened in 1934 in what was then the Dainippon Beer company headquarters building. The reinforced-concrete building was registered as a Tangible Cultural Property in 2022, and visitors come to drink draft beer in its historic hall a few minutes' walk from Ginza Station.
