Introduction
Kishi Station is the terminus of the Wakayama Electric Railway's Kishigawa Line in Kinokawa, Wakayama Prefecture, famous as the home of the cat stationmaster Tama. The cat-shaped station building, built using traditional hiwadabuki roofing craft, houses a small café, gift shop, and a shrine to the first stationmaster cat, along with a museum dedicated to Tama.
