Introduction
Nosy Be is a volcanic island off the northwestern coast of Madagascar, roughly 320 km² in size, and is the country's largest and most popular tourist destination. It offers white-sand beaches, coral reefs, volcanic lakes, lemurs, Ylang Ylang plantations and rum distilleries, along with easy boat access to nearby islands like Nosy Komba and Nosy Sakatia.
