Introduction
This is a historic brick railway tunnel in Gaiman, Chubut Province, Patagonia, Argentina, once part of the Ferrocarril Central del Chubut inaugurated in 1888 by Welsh colonists to transport wool. The old tunnel entrance still stands amid the arid Patagonian landscape and can be visited via a short, easy walking trail.
