Introduction
Grindelwald-First is a mountain station reached by cable car from Grindelwald, offering panoramic views and attractions like the First Cliff Walk, from which a popular hiking trail leads to Lake Bachalpsee. Bachalpsee is a crystal-clear alpine lake at about 2,265 m elevation, famous for its reflections of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. It is one of the top hiking destinations in the Jungfrau Region, with the lake hike taking roughly 1 hour on a moderate trail from the First cable car station.
