Introduction
Tumpak Sewu, also called Coban Sewu, is a tiered waterfall on the border of Lumajang and Malang Regencies in East Java, Indonesia, near Sidomulyo village in Pronojiwo District. It is known as a massive curtain of cascades—about 120 meters high—dropping into a lush green canyon, with hundreds of smaller falls streaming over the cliff edge. Visitors can hike down through rivers, ladders, and steep cliffs to reach the base, or view it from a sunrise viewpoint above.
