Introduction
The Żebbuġ Salt Pans are a historic network of shallow rock-cut basins carved along the Gozo coastline between Qbajjar and Reqqa Point, still used to produce sea salt as they have been for generations. Seen from above, the pans form a distinctive checkerboard pattern along the shore, making them a striking natural and cultural landmark near Marsalforn.
