Introduction
Jama Masjid, also known as Masjid-i Jahan-Numa, is one of the largest mosques in India, located in Old Delhi. It was built between 1650 and 1656 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and served as the imperial mosque of the Mughal emperors in their capital, Shahjahanabad.
