Introduction
Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a Buddhist temple and monastery complex north-northeast of Krabi in southern Thailand, built in the 1970s and set amid forest with natural caves featuring tiger paw prints. It is famous for a strenuous staircase of around 1,260 steps leading to a summit with tall Buddha statues and panoramic views over the surrounding limestone landscape.
