Introduction
The Kerama Islands are a group of islands—including Tokashiki, Zamami, Aka, and Geruma—located southwest of Okinawa's main island in the Pacific Ocean, forming part of the Keramashoto National Park. Tokashiki, the largest island covering about 15 square kilometers, is known for its rugged, hilly terrain, forested cliffs, and pristine waters famously nicknamed "Kerama Blue," making it a popular destination for diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and beach relaxation.
