Introduction
Beijing Zoo, founded in 1906 in Xicheng District, is China's oldest public zoo and largest in terms of animal variety, spanning about 80-90 hectares and home to roughly 400 species including giant pandas. The Beijing Aquarium, located within the zoo complex, is one of the largest inland aquariums in Asia, featuring diverse marine life displays plus dolphin and seal shows.
