The Whales of August is a movie-themed cocktail bar tucked in the backstreets of Shibuya, named after the 1987 film. It offers a menu of original cocktails inspired by movies (or will craft a drink based on any film a customer names), served in a retro, 1920s-30s speakeasy-style underground interior.
