Introduction
Shifen Old Street is a historic railway street in Pingxi District, New Taipei City, built along the Pingxi Line first constructed by the Japanese in 1918. It is famous for the train passing directly alongside and over the shop-lined tracks, its tradition of releasing sky lanterns, and its proximity to Shifen Waterfall.
