Introduction
Monnaie de Paris is France's national mint, located on the Left Bank at 11 Quai de Conti, opposite the Louvre. Founded in 864, it is one of the world's oldest institutions still in operation, and today combines a working coin factory with a museum, exhibition galleries, a boutique, and a café.
