Introduction
Trolltunga ("the troll's tongue") is a dramatic rock formation jutting horizontally from a mountain about 700 metres above Lake Ringedalsvatnet in Ullensvang Municipality, Vestland county, Norway. Reached via a long, demanding 27-kilometre round-trip hike from Skjeggedal, it has become one of Norway's most popular hikes and a national icon, offering breathtaking views over the fjord landscape.
