Introduction
Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is a 17th-century Balinese Hindu water temple set on the shore of Lake Bratan in the Bedugul highlands of Tabanan Regency. Dedicated to Dewi Danu, the goddess of lakes and rivers, it is considered one of Bali's Kahyangan Jagat (nine directional temples) and is renowned as one of the island's most photographed landmarks, set amid gardens and mountain scenery.
