Introduction
The Road to Hana, also known as the Hana Highway (Hawaii Routes 36/360), is a scenic 64-mile drive along Maui's northeastern coast connecting Kahului to the remote town of Hana. The route winds through lush rainforest and past dramatic coastal cliffs, featuring over 600 curves and dozens of one-lane bridges, with numerous waterfalls, hiking trails, and lookout points along the way.
