Introduction
Nachi-Katsuura is a coastal town on the southeastern Kii Peninsula in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, known for having Japan's largest landing volume of fresh tuna as well as its onsen hot springs. It serves as a gateway to Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trails and the UNESCO-listed Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine and Nachi Falls.
