Introduction
Punta Norte is a nature reserve at the northern tip of Península Valdés, Chubut Province, Argentina, roughly 75-80 km from Puerto Pirámides. Established in 1967 as one of the province's pioneering wildlife reserves, it is known for its sea lion and elephant seal colonies and for the rare spectacle of orcas hunting near the shore, typically between March and May.
