Introduction
Osorno Volcano is a 2,652-metre conical stratovolcano on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, near Puerto Varas in Chile's Los Lagos Region. Its near-perfect snow-capped cone is visible across the lake and the surrounding area, and it is considered the gateway to Chilean Patagonia, offering skiing, hiking, and panoramic viewpoints.
