Introduction
Takakkaw Falls is one of Canada's tallest waterfalls, plunging 373 metres in Yoho National Park, British Columbia. It is reached via Yoho Valley Road, about 13-14 km from the Trans-Canada Highway, and is accessible by a short, easy 1.3 km out-and-back trail from the parking lot. It's one of the most popular and powerful waterfalls in the park, fed by meltwater that flows into the Yoho and Kicking Horse Rivers.
