Introduction
Pearl Harbor National Memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii, commemorates the December 7, 1941 Japanese attack that killed over 2,400 Americans and sank twelve ships. A National Historic Landmark, the site includes five memorials, most notably the USS Arizona Memorial reached by boat, along with museums and historic WWII sites at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
