Introduction
The Andringitra Mountains are a granite massif in southeastern Madagascar, protected within Andringitra National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site accessed via the village of Namoly. The range features rugged granite cliffs, deep valleys and ridges, and is home to Pic Boby, the second-highest peak in Madagascar, making it a major destination for trekking and hiking amid rich biodiversity.
