Introduction
Zamami Island is part of the Kerama Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, reachable by ferry about 50 minutes from Naha. It is a small, hilly island of about 6.7 square kilometers with roughly 500-600 residents, known for its white-sand beaches, clear emerald waters, and marine life, making it popular for swimming and snorkeling, particularly at Furuzamami Beach.
