Introduction
The Maokong Gondola is a 4.03-kilometer cable car system in Wenshan District, Taipei, operated by the Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation and integrated with the MRT. It carries passengers from Taipei Zoo Station up through the hills past Zhinan Temple to Maokong, a mountain area known for tea plantations and teahouses, offering panoramic views along the way.
