Introduction
The Cathedral of Évora (Sé de Évora) is the largest medieval cathedral in Portugal, located in Largo do Marquês de Marialva in the historic center of Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city in the Alentejo region. Built of granite between 1186 and 1250, it is a fortified church marking the transition from Romanesque to Gothic style, featuring a peaceful cloister and a rooftop terrace offering panoramic views over the city and surrounding Alentejo countryside.
