Introduction
Mutianyu Great Wall is a well-preserved section of the Great Wall of China located in Mutianyu Village, Huairou District, about 70-75 km northeast of Beijing, connecting Gubeikou to the east and Jiankou/Juyongguan to the west. Originally built in the Ming Dynasty (with earlier foundations dating to the Northern Qi/Sui era), it stretches roughly 5,400 meters and features 22 watchtowers, making it one of the longest and most scenic sections of the Wall. It is popular with visitors for its epic mountain views, cable car access, and a toboggan slide for descending.
