Introduction
The Kapalua Coastal Trail is an easy, mostly paved out-and-back hiking path along Maui's northwestern coast near Lahaina, running roughly 1.76 miles one way (about 3.5 miles round trip) from Kapalua Bay Beach past the Ritz-Carlton to D.T. Fleming Beach Park. The trail mixes beach sand, lava rock, and paved sections, offering scenic ocean views, dunes, and access to several beaches along the way.
