Introduction
Leifeng Pagoda is a five-story, eight-sided pagoda standing on Sunset Hill on the southern shore of West Lake in Hangzhou, China. Originally built in 975 AD during the Northern Song dynasty, it collapsed in 1924 and was rebuilt in 2002 as a 71.7-meter steel-framed bronze pagoda, the first colored bronze pagoda in China. It offers panoramic views over West Lake and the surrounding hills and is regarded as one of the ten best scenic spots of the lake, especially at sunset.
