Casa Carmela is a historic family-run restaurant near Malvarrosa beach in Valencia's Poblats Marítims district, founded in 1922 and now run by the fourth generation of the same family. It specializes in traditional Valencian paella and rice dishes cooked over orange-tree wood fire, following recipes passed down since the founder's great-grandmother Carmen.
