Introduction
Plaza de Armas is the main square of Puerto Varas, dating from April 1929 on land ceded by the Archbishopric, and serves as the historic heart of the town. It is a tree-filled square with benches, grass, and seasonal flowers, surrounded by shops and cafés, located just a block from Lake Llanquihue.
