Introduction
Moraine Lake is a glacially fed alpine lake in Banff National Park, Alberta, known for its striking turquoise-blue water set against the Valley of the Ten Peaks. It lies about 14 kilometres from the village of Lake Louise and is popular for hiking, photography, and scenic viewpoints. Personal vehicle access is no longer permitted, with visitors relying on shuttle or tour services to reach it.
