Introduction
Emerald Lake is the largest lake in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, known for its striking turquoise-green color caused by glacial water carrying fine rock sediment. It's a popular destination for hiking, with a loop trail circling the lake, as well as canoeing and picnicking.
