Introduction
Zavala's Barbecue is a Texas-style barbecue joint located at the corner of Brisket Lane and Main Street in downtown Grand Prairie, Texas, housed in a small building from the 1940s/1967 that once served as a root beer stand. Founded by pitmaster Joe Zavala in 2018, it has been named to Texas Monthly's Top 50 BBQ list and is known for its smoked brisket, sausages, and traditional Texas sides.
