Introduction
Fukiji Temple is a Buddhist temple in Bungo-Takada, Oita Prefecture, founded in 718 and part of the Rokugo Manzan tradition. Its main hall is the oldest wooden structure in Kyushu and is designated a National Treasure of Japan, retaining its ancient architectural style from the late Heian period.
