Introduction
The Beijing Temple of Confucius is located on Guozijian Street in Dongcheng District, adjacent to the Lama Temple, and is the second-largest Confucian temple in China after the one in Qufu. Built in 1302 during the Yuan Dynasty, it forms a historic complex with the adjoining Imperial College (Guozijian) and features red walls, yellow tiles, stone tablets, and courtyards including the Dacheng Hall.
