Introduction
Rampe Major is a historic red-brick pedestrian pathway that climbs from La Condamine up to Monaco-Ville (the Rock), flanked by stone walls and arches and two gates built in 1533 and 1714. Dating back to the 13th century, it is the oldest and most direct route to the top of the Rock, offering scenic views over the harbor and Mediterranean along the way.
