Introduction
The Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate, popularly called Saint Nicholas Cathedral, is a Roman-Byzantine style Roman Catholic cathedral in Monaco-Ville, built between 1875 and 1903 on the site of Monaco's first 13th-century parish church. It sits atop the Rock of Monaco overlooking the Mediterranean, and houses the tombs of Monaco's princes, including Rainier III and Princess Grace Kelly, along with a notable 16th-century altarpiece by Louis Bréa.
