Introduction
La Giralda is the 104-metre bell tower of Seville Cathedral, originally built between 1184 and 1198 as the minaret for the city's Great Mosque during the Almohad period. Instead of stairs, it features 35 ramps that allowed riders to ascend on horseback, and visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views over Seville. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the city's most iconic landmarks.
