Introduction
Pulau Satumu, meaning "One Tree Island," is a tiny rocky islet marking the southernmost point of Singapore's territorial waters, located about 23 km southwest of the main island in the Singapore Strait. It is home to the historic Raffles Lighthouse, built in 1855 and one of Singapore's oldest lighthouses, along with surrounding coral reefs. The island is not generally open to the public but can be visited via special guided tours.
