Introduction
Kwai Chai Hong ("Little Ghost Lane") is a restored heritage alleyway in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown, located off Jalan Petaling at Lorong Panggung. Once a quiet, dilapidated 1960s back lane, it has been transformed into an interactive open-air museum featuring vibrant murals, paper lanterns and restored pre-war shopfronts that recreate the golden age of old Chinatown, alongside cafes and restaurants. It's popular for its photogenic street art and cultural storytelling, and is open daily from 9am to midnight.
