Introduction
Guangzhou Opera House is a public municipal opera house in Liede, Guangzhou, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and opened in 2010. Overlooking the Pearl River in the heart of Zhujiang New Town, it features a distinctive twin-boulder, boat-shaped design built from 12,000 tons of steel, housing an 1,800-seat main auditorium and a 400-seat multifunction hall with state-of-the-art acoustic technology.
