Introduction
Haixin Bridge is Guangzhou's first pedestrian-only landscape bridge spanning the Pearl River, opened in June 2021. It links Ersha Island in the north with the Guangzhou Tower (Canton Tower) area near Zhujiang New Town in the city's CBD, and is known as the world's longest-span and widest curved arch footbridge. Nicknamed the 'Little Phoenix Eye,' it offers scenic views of the Canton Tower and connects to a small park at the Haixinsha end.
