Introduction
The Panthéon is a neoclassical monument on the Sainte-Geneviève mountain in Paris's Latin Quarter, designed by architect Soufflot and originally built as a church dedicated to Saint Geneviève. Today it serves as a mausoleum honoring great French citizens, with a crypt holding the tombs of over 70 figures including Voltaire, Rousseau, Marie Curie, Alexandre Dumas, and Josephine Baker.
