Introduction
The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) is housed in the grand Palau Nacional atop Montjuïc in Barcelona and holds one of the world's largest collections of Romanesque murals alongside Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Modernisme art. Opened in 1990, it traces a thousand years of Catalan visual art and also offers a rooftop with panoramic views over the city and the Magic Fountain below.
